Spot digital asset exchange-traded funds recorded $854.88 million in collective net inflows on Aug. 20, with Bitcoin ETFs driving the move at $606.29 million. BTC pushed to $76,485—a 10 percent jump in 24 hours—as traditional finance players deployed capital through regulated channels.

Ethereum ETFs pulled in $220.77 million, with ETH at $2,380 and up 6.1 percent. Solana and XRP products posted $14.58 million and $13.24 million respectively, SOL trading at $90.4 and XRP at $1.31. The breadth signals conviction beyond Bitcoin alone.

On-chain data confirms the institutional bid is real: Bitcoin exchange reserves have fallen to multi-year lows, indicating long-term holder accumulation and evaporating retail sell pressure. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index sits at 72, firmly in "Greed" territory. Capital is flowing into these assets with purpose.

The move stands in sharp contrast to equities, where the Nasdaq dropped one percent to $26,067 and the S&P 500 fell 0.9 percent to $7,641. Institutional money is rotating out of traditional growth and into digital assets where conviction is high and supply pressure is weakening.

Pending spot altcoin ETF applications with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission could accelerate inflows further in coming months, opening new institutional pathways for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and emerging assets.
