A gauge of recent listings on the BSE mainboard climbed 16 percent this year, reaching a record high, driven by sustained investor interest in India's initial public offering market.

Immediate price premiums on some debuts signal strong demand. Klassroom, which listed on the BSE SME platform at ₹170 per share, commanded a 6.92 percent premium over its issue price of ₹159. Similarly, subscription data for ongoing issues reflect active primary market participation. Logistics technology company LEAP India's public issue was subscribed 26 percent on its first day, receiving bids for 3.02 crore shares against 11.5 crore shares offered.

The pipeline remains robust. Augmont Goldtech finalized its ₹825 crore IPO with a price band between ₹750 and ₹788 per share. The offering comprises a ₹620 crore fresh issue and a ₹205 crore offer for sale, with proceeds allocated to working capital and operational expenses.

SEBI has approved several upcoming IPOs, including AvenuesAI's subsidiary Rediff, mobile game developer PlaySimple and drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace. Prominent companies preparing for public debuts include Reliance Jio, NSE, Zepto, Rayzon Solar and Tata Play, with most scheduled for 2026 across diverse sectors.
